Chromatica processes information required to provide and secure user accounts and application functionality. We do not sell your personal information.
1. Who operates Chromatica

2. Information we may process
When you create or use a Chromatica account, we may process information associated with your account, such as your email address, user identifier, display name and profile information supplied by the authentication method you choose.
Chromatica supports authentication through email and password and may also support third-party authentication providers such as Google and Facebook.
Chromatica may also store application data associated with your account, such as information relating to your paint collection, preferences, favourites or other features available in the application.
3. Firebase
Chromatica uses Firebase services provided by Google. Firebase may be used for authentication, cloud data storage, application security and other functionality required to operate Chromatica.
4. Third-party authentication
Depending on the authentication method you choose, Google or Meta/Facebook may process information as part of the sign-in process. These companies process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
5. How we use information
- Create and manage your Chromatica account.
- Authenticate you when you sign in.
- Provide application features.
- Store account-associated application data.
- Maintain security and prevent abuse.
- Diagnose technical problems.
- Respond to support or privacy requests.
6. Legal basis
Where European data protection law applies, personal data may be processed when necessary to provide the service requested by the user, to comply with legal obligations, or on the basis of legitimate interests relating to the operation and security of Chromatica. Where consent is required by law, processing will be based on the consent provided by the user.
7. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers required to operate Chromatica, including Google Firebase and the authentication provider selected by the user.
8. Data retention
Account information and associated application data may be retained while your Chromatica account remains active. When an account deletion request is completed, personal information associated with that account will be deleted or anonymised, except where limited retention is required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention or dispute resolution.

10. Your rights

11. Children
Chromatica is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children below the minimum age required to consent to online services in their jurisdiction.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect account information and application data. However, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.
13. International processing
Some service providers used by Chromatica may process information in countries other than your own. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers of personal data.
